City reminds residents about bagged leaves service
Spring has arrived and it is now time to start raking those leaves lying around the yard. The City's Solid Waste Management Department (SWMD) wants to remind San Antonio residents that they are eligible to receive two bagged leaves collections per year up to 50 bags.
To take advantage of this service, residents should call 3-1-1 to schedule a collection. All bags should be placed in the front of the residence to be picked up. Once collected, the leaves are taken to the Bitters Brush Recycling Center and turned into mulch.
For more information on bagged leaves collection or recycling, visit www.sanantonio.gov/swmd
